Last summer, Jessica reached out to me after having read my “Bucket List” blog post. She told me how much she loved the idea of casual photos, especially over pizza and beer, so we booked them a lifestyle couples session! She and Alex got dressed up, picked up their favorite pizza and beer, and we headed out to Adam’s Homestead and Nature Preserve near Sioux City.
We started off the session by just letting them enjoy some hot pizza and cold beer while I captured some unscripted moments. After a few slices, I asked them to cozy up and share a few smooches and maybe clink their glass bottles.
Then, we took a little stroll around the nature preserve, especially the open prairie area. I encouraged hugging and dancing and smooching and smiles.
When I sent the full gallery over after the session, Jessica messaged me this: “I love these all so much. I never like pictures of myself–I’m usually so critical of myself. But these are beautiful, and I can’t wait to put them all over the house. Thank you!”
