Recently, I had the opportunity to capture a truly beautiful fall wedding on the cliffs of Lake Superior, near Bayfield, Wisconsin. It was a late September day, and the bold fall colors made the scenery even more breathtaking.
Despite the cloudy gray skies, the sun decided to break through during the golden hour, creating a magical glow that added a touch of grandeur to the celebration. The couple exchanged heartfelt private vows before their ceremony. Then, they went downstairs to greet their family. They were met with so many hugs and squeals of delight.
The entire day centered around Annamarie + Drew and their immediate family. What made this fall wedding even more special was that the bride’s brother officiated the ceremony, adding a personal and sentimental touch. After the ceremony, everyone raised a glass of champagne and enjoyed a stunning view of Lake Superior.
To make the evening even more delightful, the couple hired a private chef to prepare a mouthwatering multi-course dinner for the ten of them. As they savored the delicious food, they shared sentimental speeches and cherished memories. Laughter filled the air, and they truly enjoyed each other’s company.
As a wedding photographer, I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of this beautiful fall wedding day. Capturing candid moments and documenting the essence of love is what drives me. I strive to capture photos that feel timeless, infused with heart and tenderness.
Every wedding is unique. I believe that the best photographs are the ones that feel lived-in. Whether you are planning an intimate wedding like this one, or are looking for someone to document your Minneapolis wedding, I would be honored to be your photographer. Let’s create tangible evidence of a life well lived and well loved.
I'm a Minnesota wedding photographer. I am best known for my candid photos that showcase the truest spirits of you and the people you love. As a documentary wedding photographer, I give you space for uninterrupted moments to experience your event as it happens. Always present, but not intrusive. I am always on the move, working my way into the middle of the action as often as I stand back and observe. This approach results in a comprehensive gallery of images that honestly and wholeheartedly tell the story of your wedding day-- the story of how you love, who was there, and why it matters.
