I spend a lot of time in the Twin Cities these days. Though we haven’t moved up there quite yet, I’ve been in love with Minneapolis and St. Paul for years. I have connected with other wedding photographers and wedding vendors to collaborate and work together serving the incredible couples of Minnesota. When I made the trip up to the cities for an engagement session this past January, I secretly hoped I could connect with some of my friends. After all, why not plan another couples session in Minneapolis while I’m there?

When Kelsey approached me about a cottage core inspired session, she told me “If I don’t look like Ma Ingalls by the end of it, I don’t want it.” If you’re not familiar with cottage core, think house dresses and vintage odds-n-ends and picnics and Little House on the Prairie. Nostalgia meets modern conveniences.

I had so much fun helping bring her dream to life. Her intentionally curated gallery wall made the perfect backdrop for some cozy, and maybe a little cheesy, photos. I don’t know about you, but I am getting major “Ma Ingalls” vibes. Enjoy this Minneapolis couples session in Kelsey and Matt’s home.
